Kamayan a Filipino Style Feast
Time & Location
About the Event
Kamayan is a Tagalog word that means "by hand" and refers to the communal-style feast, and the soul of Filipino cusine. Its a shared experience with family and friends along side a delectable variety of food served on a banana leaves and eaten without utensils.
The hands on, interactive meal isn't just a way of eating; its about collectively taking a step back and engaging with yoru food and each other. Its about building and fostering a community, where everyone is welcome to the table. It is an eating experience as much a learning experience.
And there's no better place to have this communal feast than our own local Long Beach farm, Farm Lot 59.
